This double page spread was created by myself for my Magazine Print and Production class.
I visited our university's Image Center, where I selected the Coco Chanel exhibit from the "Stories of the Picture Press" exhibition. I was interested in the history of the iconic Chanel brand and wanted to resemble a newspaper style to match its time period while emphasizing that Chanel herself is timeless.
My favourite part about creating this magazine was columnizing the copy and incorporating the images in an appealing way. I also thought I placed the pull quote well because it guides the reader through the copy and doesn't add chaos.
